the new lines – history of love / off axis 7″

July 10, 2011

There’s a good chance the members of Princeton psych-rockers The New Lines are reincarnated from souls left behind during the 60s. Surreal psychedelia. Even though the three-piece has only released a couple singles along with a 7″, their sound delivers a serious aura, developed and mature. Now, off an upcoming split 7″ with Still Corners, their contribution ‘Off Axis’ is a ‘White Rabbit’-esque track soaked in flowery electronics and fluttering guitars. Woodstock: Never Forget.
