delusions – ‘have it (feat. fthrsn)’

April 27, 2012

Matt Giles is a man of many names: Dreampeter, Stay Mellows, that down to earth dude from that down to earth blog Zen Tapes. The amount of goodness that stems from his hands is easily admired and hard to write off as anything other than stellar. Matt is sitting pretty as Delusions with fellow Ann Arborian and Dreampeter co-pilot Peter Wiley [aka Boneless] on this six track split. Their groovy experimentations glide through the air like faded afterthoughts of the days past.

Delusions – Have It (Feat. fthrsn)

To compare for the sake of comparison, the home video sample and finger pickings took a path similar to The Books but just like that comparison is gone. The song flattens out into the kind of carefree melody you would find in the back of a 1960s VW bus. I can’t get enough of the sunny scene.

Catch Matt and the Zen Tapes/Ann Arbor crew at Total Bummer 3D! If my calculations are right, we’re only 146 hours until take off.
